Alexa, remind Texas it’s Fall……..
It’s currently a sizzling 97 degrees, but LISTEN, I’m ready for cozy sweaters, fuzzy socks and warm apple cider dang it!!! In the meantime, I’ve decided to begin dressing our house for the season. It was a hot girl summer, but I’m anticipating a cool girl autumn. (Giggles at my cleverness)
First to get spruced up was our porch. I have a cute pumpkin tower idea planned, but this is a good start for now. When I tell you this was a budget assembly, I’m not joking. The beautiful pre-lit wreath was gifted from a family friend…which is always a great start to any project. Here’s a list of all the goodies!
Large Cream Burlap Ribbon $4.47 (Walmart)
Navy Burlap Ribbon $3.97 (Walmart)
“Beyond Blessed” indoor/outdoor pillow $5 (Walmart)
Two Flower Bouquets ($5 each) $10 (Walmart)
Trellis $7 (Walmart)
Black Wicker basket $6 (Walmart)
Navy Metal Vase $5 (Walmart)
Real Pumpkin $4.99 (Target)
Grey Plastic Pumpkin $5 (Target)
Small Plastic Pumpkin $3 (Target)
“Gather” Burlap Banner $3 (Target)
Natural and Cream Burlap ribbon (wreath) $3 each (Target)
Golden leaf picks x4 $1 each (Dollar Tree)
Leaf Garland x2 $1 each (Dollar Tree)
Flowers and berries x6 $1 each (Dollar Tree)
Glitter “J” ornament $1 (Dollar Tree)
Small Pumpkins $1 each (Dollar Tree)
Reversible “Welcome Autumn” Sign $5 (Target)
The wreath cost me just $22 to make…and it looks exactly how I wanted! Similar style wreaths online can cost anywhere from $60-$150…yikes.
The inside of our home received a little bit of zhuzh as well. I love pretty things, but with 5 mini humans in the home I tend to keep it pretty simple….and cheap. So if something gets broken or ruined, it’s honestly no big deal. Almost all of the decor pieces and knick knacks were purchased from Dollar Tree or the Target dollar spot. Oh, and don’t mind the empty picture frames…..our photos are still in a box…..somewhere in the garage.
There you have it!!!! Now, for the weather to get the memo so we can get all snuggle-y already!!!!! Geesh!!!
Love,
Kisha J
